J. Ross Baughman became the Photo Editor of The Washington Times in October 1999. Previously, he served as founding partner and president of the Visions photo agency in New York. For over 25 years, Baughman has taught journalism at the graduate and undergraduate level in New York and around the world. In 1978, he was nominated for three Pulitzer Prizes, and for a portfolio of war pictures from Africa became the youngest professional to ever receive the award.
